FTP
If you don't have an FTP program, and you want one, here's a favorite of mine.

Don't even bother searching for a good FTP client, cuz this one is the best. I spent a few days a while ago trying them all out.
SMARTFTP kicks all their asses.
It doesn't load spyware like some others that I won't name.
It's free for non commercial, private use. But it is so good, I recommend that you register it. It's only 29.95 and this is one of the best pieces of software I have ever seen of any type. It's under continual development and purchasing a license helps support the developers, who deserve it. This is one great piece of software!
HOSTS file
Tired of Popups?
Then import my hosts file into your c:\Windows\System32\Drivers\Etc directory to block known sites that provide popups and other intrusive advertising. Use this at your own risk, but it works for me. This file was built up using a great freeware tool "z-webnuke". I recommend that program.
Peer Music Sharing
I recommend Winmx.
It doesn't load spyware like some others that I won't name.
